This initial stage sets the foundation for project success. It begins with Project Initiation, where goals, deliverables, stakeholders, and success metrics are defined. Next, a Feasibility Study is conducted to evaluate technical solutions, financial feasibility, and environmental impact. Based on these insights, Preliminary Design outlines conceptual layouts and high-level cost estimates. This guides the Budgeting and Funding step to secure capital. Simultaneously, Risk Management identifies potential obstacles and mitigation strategies, ensuring readiness for future stages. Every stage follows an appropriate approval workflow. GIS is used for the planning purposes. All relevant approvals are obtained and documents uploaded on the portal for the project. Planners can create any number of projects. Only final approved projects move to next stage.
The Planning Stage translates vision into actionable plans. Once the approvals and budgets for preplanned projects are obtained, Project Scheduling defines the timeline and critical milestones. Permits and Approvals are acquired to comply with legal and regulatory frameworks. Project is autocoded and visible to only the project owners. The Bidding Process follows, where detailed tender documents are created and distributed. Contractors respond to the RFQ on the portal itself. Vendor Selection is then undertaken using clear evaluation criteria, ensuring the best-fit contractors and selected suppliers are onboarded (Man, Machine, Material) toconduct a survey of the work package and either raise deviations for approval or deliver against the plan.


This data-driven stage provides critical ground intelligence. A Topographic Survey maps existing physical features. Geotechnical Investigation reveals subsurface conditions through soil tests. The Environmental Impact Assessment gauges ecological implications. Utility Mapping ensures the accurate identification and relocation of infrastructure like water, gas, and electric lines. Traffic Surveys and Hydrological Surveys offer insights into vehicular movement and drainage capacity, respectively. If any obstruction or issue is observed, the contractor can raise a deviation request on the portal along with relevant details marked on the GIS map.
This bridge phase ensures real-world alignment with planning. Based on survey findings, Design Adjustments refine technical specifications. Scope Changes may arise due to constraints or stakeholder feedback. These require Re-approval Processes with regulatory bodies. Stakeholder Communication keeps all parties informed, while Cost and Schedule Revisions recalibrate timelines and budgets, minimizing future disruptions.


The build phase translates plans into reality. Site Preparation includes clearing, fencing, and grading. Earthworks follow with excavation, backfilling, and compaction. Foundation Laying builds structural base layers. Next, Pavement Construction forms the roads or platforms. Simultaneously, Drainage Installation and Utility Installation ensure infrastructure readiness. Traffic Management is enforced for public safety. Continuous Quality Control and Health & Safety Management ensure compliance and integrity throughout. Daily attendance, progress report is tracked using mobile app and is available on the dashboard for all the stakeholders. Inspectors can validate physically and approve the report on the portal which marks completion of the portion of the work package. The contractor may raise running invoices along with the evidence of the project progress.
Post-execution ensures a smooth handover and sustainability. Final Inspections validate build quality. Commissioning marks formal operation launch. Documentation captures reports, as-built drawings, permits, and compliance records. Stakeholder Handover completes legal and operational transfer. A Post-Construction Evaluation measures outcomes versus objectives. Finally, Maintenance Planning defines upkeep protocols to protect long-term value.
